My condolences to your family. Phil & Amanda I do think about our time together often. I once in a while would bump into your mom near her neighbourhood. I lived close to there. She was always so sweet , just determined to live independent as best as she could. She had a beautiful spirit.
May God bless you & keep you. My His face shine upon you & give you peace.
Warmly, Kathy McCartney.

Dear Bill and Family,
I did not know Betty, but from what I have read and heard, know that she was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Nothing can make a mother prouder than being told that she raised her children properly. Since I do know Bill and his family, stay proud, Betty.

It was a privilege to be able to join your family in celebrating your Mom’s life. My Mom tells me that our Dad’s became friends when they were only in their early teens and then our Mothers became friends shortly thereafter – that’s what I call a long term friendship .. some 75 years. Mom has so appreciated their connection over the years. The Pearson family has always been a topic of conversation when we spent time with our Mom and Dad. While we haven’t seen any of you for years and years (you are all still in your teens and 20’s in our minds), your Mom kept us up to date through our Mother. As I think about how your parents lives were inter-wined with my parents, through visits and vacations, I can’t help but recall the most important impact that your family made on mine. As I watch my daughter raise her five little kids to love the Lord I realize that it all has to do with an invitation that your Dad and Mom made to my parents some 50 plus years ago. How that one invitation changed our lives and the lives of our families, including aunts and uncles and cousins who were also influenced by Lake Gospel Church. I shall be forever grateful to your Mom and Dad, and will never underestimate the power of reaching out to someone else. Thank you Mr. & Mrs. Pearson – your faith and legacy live on! Sincerely, Jane Gater (Naylor)

Dear Bill , Lee and family: I have just finished watching the video of the service for Betty. So good to learn more about her and her family. We enjoyed getting to know her while she attended Philpott Church and most Sundays, went home after a hug from Betty and after she got an update on our family. Imagine her asking about our little family when she had so many grandchildren and great grandchildren of her own, now we appreciate her interest even more. May God comfort you all with His loving arms as you draw on so many wonderful memories.

BETTY'S LAST VISIT TO THE NEIBOURHOOD.
A few years back the house on the east side of Betty's was bought by the Ward's. In recent years they planted an umbrella tree on the north west corner of the front lawn under which they placed a flood light facing up to the tree top. Within the last week or so (???) I looked out the window and noticed that floodlight was turned on its side which had never happened before. The light then light up the whole front of Betty's old home. My interpretation !!!. Betty made once last stop to look at the house that was a home to her for may years as she made her departure from this planet. The Ward's on Friday adjusted that flood light back. BETTY REST IN PEACE.

Dear Family of Betty Pearson
I just learned of Betty's homegoing to Glory.
I'm sending a card to the Donald V Brown funeral home to be forwarded to someone in the family.
Betty was a long-time friend and supporter of Rural Life Mission and Mae Waters.
I stayed with Betty when a lady from Geraldton came to Hamilton for heart surgery.
Also Philip & Amanda & family stayed at our home in Geraldton one summer doing a DVBS at Geraldton Faith Chapel.
It wasn't too long ago I talked to Betty on the phone thanking her for her continued prayers and support for Rural Life Mission
On behalf of RLM we send our condolences to all the family.
May her memories remind you of her great love for the Lord.
I'll be giving a small D98nBdonation to RLM In her memory.
Blessings go to all of you
In Christ

Hello Bill & Lee; Bill I just watched some of the service on line. Your story of finding a job while in school sounds like my parents, always looking out for me and my siblings particularly when it came to getting us to work!
Your Mother lived a long full life of which I am sure you are very thankful.
Our condolences.
