Obituary of Ana Peixoto

March 21, 1934 -January 15, 2021 

It is with heavy, yet joyful, hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Ana Peixoto (Pereira) on January 15, 2021. She was in her 87th year and passed away at home with her family. Reunited with her loving husband Francisco Peixoto (2004), parents Maria and John Pereira and nine brothers and sisters.  Ana will be missed deeply by her son, Louis, and daughter, Rosemary. She will be missed by her grandchildren Ryan (Heather-Mary), Aaron (Melissa), Hannah (Jeff) and their mother Pamela Peixoto. Her great-grandchildren; Bella, Sierra, Gillis, Hudson, Fynnley and Annalee, will always have the beautiful memories of their Avo. Ana will be fondly missed by many family members and friends. Born in Faial, Azores, Portugal, she immigrated to Oakville, Ontario in 1958, where she was reunited with her husband and raised her two children, Louis and Rosemary. She was very involved in her local parish, St. James in Oakville, showing her devotion to her Saviour, Jesus. Ana was a humble spirit. She was a hard-working woman who always gave her time selflessly. A true example of love and patience. She served her family and community faithfully, to the end, with kindness. A private family service will be held at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Wednesday, January 20th at 11:00 a.m. followed by her being laid to rest at Trafalgar Lawn Cemetery, Oakville.
