I am remembering the lovely Boxing Day dinners that I was invited to at Debbie & Pete’s home. Mrs. Haluik was always there and so were her fabulous perogies and cabbage rolls. We always had a good time. Although Mrs. Haluik was somewhat quiet, she never hesitated to give her opinion when she wanted to, especially about sports, if I remember correctly it was baseball.
A butterfly lights beside us like a sunbeam and for a brief moment its glory and beauty belong to the world but then it flies again and though we wish it could have stayed - we feel lucky to have seen it.
