Obituary of Donald Jack Gowland

GOWLAND, Donald Jack - After a lengthy illness, with Vera at his side at all times, staying at home in Stoney Creek until 2 months ago when he entered St. Peter's Hospital, Don went to be with his Lord on Saturday, November 3, 2007 in his 89th year. Beloved husband of Vera (Quance) for 65 loving years enjoying many memorable vacations together. Dear uncle of Tom Ferguson and his wife Berit of Grimsby and Rick Ferguson and his wife Peggy of Stoney Creek. Don was a member of the Stoney Creek Alliance Church, Binbrook Seniors and a long time resident of Binbrook. Friends will be received at the DONALD V. BROWN FUNERAL HOME, 36 Lake Avenue Dr., Stoney Creek on Monday from 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Wednesday, November 7 at 1:30 p.m. Interment Trinity United Church Cemetery.
