LUPO, Baldassare

Passed peacefully into the arms of our Lord on Thursday, November 19, 2020, at the age of 92. Beloved husband of 56 years to Lina.  Dear father of Frank & Dawn and Leonardo. Proud grandfather to Jordan and Joshua.  “Saneddu” or “Batassanu” immigrated with his young family from the small town of Salaparuta, Sicily after surviving a devastating earthquake in 1968. He lived his entire life for his family and was happiest when everyone was together. Predeceased by loving parents Baldassare Lupo and Maria Cascio. Loving brother of Francesco (Margherita), Benedetto (Lilla), Giuseppe (Giovanna), Vito (Luisa) and Lucia (Antonino). Loving brother in law of Vincenzo (Margherita), Calogero (Maria), and Antonina (Pietro). Dearly missed by many nieces and nephews. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, in accordance with the Bereavement Authority of Ontario facial mask/coverings are required.  Please visit the funeral home website to register your attendance for services due to limited space availability.  Visitors will only be accepted by scheduled appointment and will be asked to wait in their vehicle until their allotted time. Congregating on premises is prohibited. Family and Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Tuesday from 3- 8 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be held at St. Francis Xavier Roman Catholic Church, Highway 8 and Greens Rd., Stoney Creek, on Wednesday, November 25 at 10 a.m. please register to attend mass.  Interment to follow at Our Lady of The Angels Cemetery.
