Obituary of Richard (Dick) Walter Gow

GOW, Richard Walter (Dick) May 2, 1930 – May 1, 2011. Dick passed away at the Brantford General Hospital after battling Parkinson’s disease. He will be dearly missed by his family who loved him so much including his devoted wife of 53 years, Joan Gow, along with their daughters, Sharron MacDonald (Ian) and Elaine De Boes (Ed). Dick found great pleasure in the companionship of his grandchildren Brittany, Michael, Celine, and Ryan. Dick thoroughly enjoyed his work as a Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, Refrigeration (HVACR) engineer. A highlight of his career was working in Panama on the Panama Canal 60-cycle conversion project. His sense of humor, quest for learning, and excellence in his work will continue to be a source of inspiration to his family. A private family service will be held.
