GOULD, Carmen (Bones)
It is with great sadness, that we announce the passing of Carmen Gould of Stoney Creek, on Wednesday, July 15, 2009. Carmen passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer, in his 77th year. Loving husband of Isabel (White), and father of Wanda Telford (Shawn) of B.C., Stanley White (Claire) of Hamilton, Ann Gould (Alfred) of New Brunswick, Robert Gould (Cathy) of Hamilton, Steven White (Brenda) of Stoney Creek), Gary Gould of Hamilton, Donna Douglas (Kevin) of Florida, Susan Gould (David) of Florida, Lori-Lee White (Sandra) of New Brunswick and Grandfather of eleven and Great-Grandfather of eight. His greatest passion in life was his music. He formed the Down East Country Club at the Continental Club in Hamilton, which was enjoyed by many for a number of years. He was proud of his band Carmen Gould and the Night Hawks, and performed with many various musicians within the Southern Ontario area. He will be dearly missed on a country stage by many friends and will now be playing on a greater stage. A special thank you to Stanley, Claire, Sarah, Samantha and Jesse White for their unwavering support and assistance. Friends will be received at the DONALD V. BROWN FUNERAL HOME, 36 Lake Ave. Dr., Stoney Creek, on Friday from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Memorial Service will be held in the chapel on Saturday, July 18th at 11:30 a.m. Cremation to follow. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Bob Kemp Hospice or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family in lieu of flowers.
