Very sorry to hear that your dad has gone to glory.
I know what it is to lose someone that you spent almost every day of your life with.
A very big hole, but it will get filled by talking with your mom a whole lot more.
Never forget the man that chooses to ride the cart instead of walking 6 feet.
Our sincerest condolences
Pete

Our condolences to the Burgess family over the passing of their Dad and husband. Chris was very instrumental and a mentor to my father when we opened our golf course back in 1983. Our family has done business with Skyway from then until now when my son does business with Glen. I remember many stories from Chris but one than stands out today is when the world is in trouble golf will be okay as people have money for recreation. So true today. Chris you will be missed and you truly left your mark in the industry.
Thanks Chris, Pineland Greens/The Clark Family.

Sharing sympathies to you Alma, Glenn and family. Dropping by Skyway Lawn on Beach Blvd was always fun, along with good and enjoyable conversations with Chris and the Burgess family. May the memories throughout the years will bring you comfort in the days to come.

It is extremely sad to hear of the passing of Chris. My dad ( Floyd ) and I have great memories of Chris driving his golf cart back and forth to our shop on Centennial Parkway daily and getting pulled over by the cops in our parking lot with them telling him it was illegal and him returning some typical "Chris" lanugage. Whenever he would call the shop he only ever wanted to speak to my Dad, I would answer the phone and all I would hear was " Floyd there? I would say no sorry he is out and then click.....he hung up!!!! It was something we constantly laughed about and will always be remembered. Our Christmas lunches will never be the same with out the order for Chris of an A & W burger and pizza for everyone else. Please give our condolences to the entire Burgess Family from all of us at Highland Tire & Auto Service.
Rest in Peace Chris.
Sincerely,
Floyd, Roxanne & Jessica Hamilton - Highland Tire & Auto Service

Is it with great sadness to hear of the passing of Chris this morning. We will be forever grateful for all of the knowledge Chris was kind enough to share with us over the years. The visits in the evening when he lived on Lake Ave in Hamilton and the other evening visits at the old shop on the lake beside the Skyway Bridge. We will always remember his laugh and high spirits of "Get the Job Done Right". Please pass on our condolences to the complete Burgess Family "A Job Well Done Chris, Rest In Peace".

I was present when Glenn and Lori presented him with a large picture of the two of them. Many tears were shed. There were lots of BBQ gatherings on the Farm near Guelph. and Golf Carts for anyone who wished to ride through the beautiful trees there. .Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. Aunt Alma, Glenn, Lori & Families,
We are so sorry for your loss. Uncle Chris was a very kind and generous man who adored his family. I will always remember when Terry and I lived in Caistor Centre many years ago, Uncle Chris would often wake us on snowy mornings plowing our very long driveway, knowing we had to get to work. We never asked him to do this for us-he just did! This was the kind of man he was. We loved him and he will be missed.
Sending love and hugs (virtual) to all of you,
Jeanette & Terry
