Such great memories of growing up on the street with my cousins Len (Sonny) , Elaine and Donna. We were so lucky to have those close ties.

We were blessed with many family gatherings over the years. My dad took this picture in 1958 of one of those gatherings. Len(Sonny) was right between Paul and I. One of the last times I talked to Len was at a reunion at Jim’s place. It was then I learned of his love for birds. He took some outstanding photos of birds that he shared online. Our memories will live on. Praying for the family as they journey through this sad time.
God bless,
Cousin Joan

Such precious memories of our cousin Len (Sonny)! As children growing up in the same neighbourhood in Stoney Creek, our families spent many special times together; and as adults, those ties were cemented at our semiannual lunches at the Village Restaurant.
Len is now reunited with family and friends who have gone before us. Until we meet again...

Lots of love and prayers for my cousin Len "Sonny" family. So many wonderful memories and most recent our twice yearly lunches at the Village keeping the tradition set by our parents for so many years. I will always remember the last time I saw him about a year ago, he reminded me of Santa and he had the heart to match, so kind and gentle. Heaven just gained a beautiful soul. Rest in peace dear cousin Len.

Leonard ( Sonny ) was a good friend and neighbour on Walker Ave.- right across the street. Fond and fun memories of my brother Cliff and Len going around the neighbourhood inviting others to come and wrestle with " The Tolos Brothers " - they always won. We lost touch after Walker but will always treasure the kids I grew up with, Leonard is one of them. May he rest in peace !

I have SO many good good memories of My Uncle Len which I will always cherish. He became our Unc at the young age of 14 & he loved being an Uncle! He spent so much time with my Sister & I, he would get right into our playpen & take up the whole space playing with us. He spoiled us rotten with gifts & clothing - always bringing us gifts. When he went out to Banff, I specifically remember him bringing me back a little Eskimo Dolly which I loved so much & still have a picture of me hugging her. As we got older, we had the coolest Uncle. He had a huge collection of vinyl records & every Birthday or Christmas he would buy us a new record - Donny Osmond, David Cassidy were the favourites! His stereo/dome record player was something he would let us use, which thrilled us so. We had the best record collection ever! Then later, he was the cool Uncle on his Motorcycle - wow what a thrill to see him on his bike! He was such a gentle person, but to look at him you may not think that! He was a dreamer, a person who followed his heart & did things that he wanted to see & do. Later years, he became the perfect looking Santa Claus with a personality much like Santa. Kind & gentle. A watcher of birds - knowing all types & habitats - just like Grams J. his mom. I have only happy memories of my Uncle Len - he will be forever missed, but never ever forgotten. I send my loving thoughts & condolences to Tobi & her family, Clark & Marilou & Darlene & her family - I know you will all miss his gentle face. Rest Easy Len - I hope you find your Mom, Dad & many others who went before you - waiting to greet you again. Love you forever, Your Niece Sheri xo
