Obituary of Alexander Fraser Gordon

GORDON, Alexander Fraser Peacefully at Billings Court Manor, Burlington, on Thursday, November 29, 2012, in his 80th year. Beloved husband of Dolores. Loving father of Keith (Sue) and step-father of Nancy Gabrielse, Rosanne and Phil Tufts, Michael and Helen Luksha and predeceased by Steven Luksha. Cherished grandfather of Matthew and Katie and step-grandchildren, Sean, Shay, Marley, Melanie, Christian and Madeline. Dear brother of, Ruth Dye, Ella (John) Christie and predeceased by Nan. Will also be missed by his nieces and nephews. Alexander emigrated from Scotland with his family in 1959 and was retired from the Hamilton Spectator after 23 years of service. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Monday from 1 p.m. until the Funeral Service at 3 p.m. Cremation to follow.
