Dear Sheila, Jim and families,
Our deepest condolences to all.
I have wonderful memories of staying at your house during the summer holidays and feeling part of the family. Aunt Ruth was always funny to watch when providing her abundant love and affection to her dogs (her babies), Skippy and "Gingy." I remember that Aunt Ruth was fun and always spoke to me as though I were an adult, not a kid, which made me feel good.
We hope good memories of your mom will give you some comfort at this sad time.
Love,
Linda & Pat McGurk

Julie Caley posted a condolence

Dear Jim and Sheila,
One of my favourite memories of Auntie Ruth was during one summer when I was quite young. She came to visit us at our home on Beech Ave. and then drove me out to the farm for a summer holiday. Memories of the drive are not detailed, but I remember a lot of smiling and laughing...and I thought she was a super cool aunt because she liked to drive fast. Auntie Ruth also had a way of making me feel listened to as she would look directly into my eyes when I spoke to her.
Ron and I wish to convey our sincere sympathies during this difficult time.
Sincerely, Julie and Ron Caley
