Clifford peacefully passed away at Pine Villa Nursing Home in his 82nd year on June 29, 2020. Predeceased by parents Philippe and Bertha McBrearty from Nouvelle Quebec. Survived by the mother of his children Bibian. Father to Michael (Donna), Danny, and Caroline (Steve). Grandfather to Jennifer (Sean), Michael (Lindsy), Lisa and Madison. Great-Grandfather to Emma, Evelyn and Olivia. Survived by sister Mary Grace (late Mansfield Williamson) and brothers Oben (late Liliane Bujold) and Lawrence (Louise Vigneault). Predeceased by sisters Ruth (late Edgar LaBillois), Opal (late Yvon Guité), Eileen, Stella and Ruby and brothers Robert (late Betty Dalziel), Harvey (late Teresa Noonan), Leo (late Dorrie Thompson), Ralph (Late Rose Aimée Laviolette), Ruben, Albert and Russell (late Mrs. Jeanne-Mance Pilote). Also leaving behind nieces, nephews and many dear friends. Clifford was a member of the Hamilton Iron Workers Local 736. He worked on many structural steel projects within various plants and steel mills throughout Hamilton, including the original Burlington Skyway Bridge. He had a passion for guitar and enjoyed playing and singing around a camp fire enjoying a cold one with friends. The family wishes to extend a sincere thank you to all the staff at Pine Villa Nursing Home during Clifford’s stay there. A private service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to any one of the following is greatly appreciated, The Canadian Lung Association, The Newton Glassman Neonatal Charitable Foundation or The Kidney Foundation of Canada.
