Sadly, I did not get to meet Lise. I only knew of her through her devoted and loving son, Gary Wehrle and his life partner, Keith MacDonald. I frequently heard them speak of their boundless admiration and deep love for her and how kind she always was. Gary was a great son to his mother and I've always admired in awe his steadfast dedication in visiting his mom every weekend. I can only imagine how painful it was for both of them when visits had to be curtailed due to the current pandemic. My deepest condolences to the entire family but especially to my dear friend, Gary. May she rest in peace.

Such lovely memories of Lise and my mother who enjoyed many years of friendship. Lise was a great support to my mother when they both resided at Amica. Those were difficult transitions for both ladies to have left their beautiful condos on the Lake, but they had each other, enjoying the wine & cheese events, meals together and still checking each other's fashionable outfits. My last visit with Lise was when she attended my mother's memorial and despite her limited ability, her warm embrace and radiant smile told me she was there to honor the passing of her best friend. Lise was a very special woman. My sincere condolences to the family.
