I thank The Lord for the dream I had with you prior to my Baptism as an adult Dad, where you mentioned you prayed to Jesus to change my heart; where I felt contrite and you were praising Jesus for answering your prayers. I can take that as a reminder to not dwell in the areas that bring pain to my heart but instead rejoice in The Lord for the work he’s doing.
I’ll miss you on this earth while you cannot attend my wedding in person to give me away I know you’ll shine down on me and rejoice from Heaven that we’ll meet again there when my time is to come I just thank you for never failing to fill up every space that you could on my birthday cards with your love for me because it set a standard of love that I’m worthy to receive and everything short of that is unworthy of me.
It’s been my pleasure to be your Daughter and to get to call you my Father.
