Patrick,
You have been nothing less than a brother to me.I am a better person because of you and I am blessed to have had you touch my life in such a profound way.
The good LORD called a "time out" and made a substitution. HE needed a good goalkeeper and a field hockey player that he could rely on.......who else?
Rest peacefully my friend - you deserve it.
Until we meet again.
My condolences to Monica and Luanne, Brennan, Kirk, Wade and their respective families.

Although no words of sympathy can ease the loss you bear, still may you find some comfort in the thought that others care.
I was one of the Stone girls that grew up across the Gomez family on Dundonald Street, and remember Pat's love of football.

A life well-lived does not end any more than music ends.
It echoes thru time with whispers of beauty and grace ...
if we listen, we can hear the encore with our hearts, for
the song plays on, just as love lives on.
Our condolences to Monica and family, you will
be in our prayers.

Uncle Pat taught me how to kick a football at age 7 and was a great teacher of the game. As a family member i will always cherish the the great times we had together from the home in Cascade when he lived in Trinidad to Stoney Creek where i spent two years in Aunt Monica and his home. I remember playing football in the snow with Brennan and Kirk and pretending to be Uncle Pat in the uprights. As the lawn was covered in snow, i was diving for everything. Auntie Monica please accept my family's condolences. Luanne, Brennan, Kirk and Wade i share your grief as i write this with tears in my eyes.
Someday we will meet on that field in heaven to have a family game. Rest in peace my loving uncle
