Obituary of Anton (Tony) Gombosa

GOMBOSA, Anton (Tony) Peacefully, after a short battle with cancer, at St. Peter's Hospital on Thursday, December 11, 2008, in his 75th year. Beloved husband of Slava. Dear father of Anton (Georgia) and Joseph (Carm). Loving grandpa of Michael and Stephanie. Dear brother of Regina and Marija of Slovenia. Survived by a sister-in-law Marija Gombosa of Toronto. Predeceased by his brother Stefan. Will be sadly missed by his friends in the Slovenian community, his nieces, nephews, and especially his great- nephews, Aiden and Braedan. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Gregory the Great Slovenian Catholic Church on Wednesday, December 17th at 11 a.m. In Anton's memory, donations to the Juravinski Cancer Centre would be appreciated by the family.
