Bill & Judy & Family were saddened to hear of Ivan's passing, our sincere condolences to the Family. We always enjoyed meeting up with Ivan over the years at David & Laurel's holiday dinners. We especially enjoyed his storytelling about his Air Force days, and travels by train up to Edinburgh when he was on Leave. His reminisces about his beloved Margie were always touching. We don't think she was ever far from his thoughts. I'm sure you will be comforted by your many memories of Ivan.

Our deepest condolences on the loss of your Dad. He was such a dapper gentleman. About a month after he went to live at the retirement home, we were selling his house and asked him if all the ladies at the home were after him. He hesitated, and then replied "Well Not all of them" ! Rick and I will always remember that.

We were neighbors to Ivan and Margie for 35 years before Ivan moved to the retirement home. I remember how on Halloween Margie would get our children special treats and invite them in for a photo. There were many over the fence talks where Ivan would reminisce about his family in Nova Scotia, or about his pride in his sons and grandchildren. There were many enjoyable times to remember, as well as the later years which brought the challenges of grieving and growing older.
Thinking of Jim and Dave and their families as they remember and grieve his loss.

To Jim and Dave
Sorry to hear about the passing of your father. We have so many memories living beside your family for so many years. We will always remember enjoying swimming in the pool. I remember one day when the pool was being built and a baby robin flew out of the nest in the tree in our backyard and landed on the shoulder of one of the workers!!
Your dad was always a gentleman ready to talk about events of the day, whenever he would get out of his car after a long day at work. He was a good tennis player as I remember, I guess that is why you guys were so good at it too!
Try to remember the many good memories and you're Dad will always be with you!

So sorry to hear of the passing of Ivon Warr. He was a great neighbour to my mom for close to 60 years. A true gentleman. As kid in the 60's I remember him fondly singing Danny Boy in the back yard when I was outside , it gave him and me a chuckle. To this day when I hear "Danny Boy " I think of him.
My condolences to the entire family,
Daniel Lee
