Obituary of Jean Golding

GOLDING, Jean Peacefully in her 101st year at the Clarion Nursing Home on Thursday, February 3, 2011. Predeceased by her husband William 1961, her daughter Barbara 2006 (Charles) and daughter-in-law Carol 2006 (Brian). Survived by her son Gordon (Joan), William (Marlene) and Brian. Loved grandmother of 8 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Jean was an active member of the Cheyne Presbyterian Church in Stoney Creek for over forty-five years. The Cheyne Nursery was dedicated to Jean for her many years of service to the parishioners, their children and grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Sunday from 2-4 p.m. and Monday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service to be held at Cheyne Presbyterian Church, King St. West and First St. South on Tuesday February 8th at 11 a.m. Interment White Chapel Memorial Gardens. In Jean’s memory, donations to Cheyne Presbyterian Church or charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
