Dear Mark,
I was very sad to learn that your Dad had passed away. I have so many wonderful memories of good times spent in Binbrook during our highschool years and I know Morris and Betty enjoyed those time with the high school kids hanging around. The last time I spoke to your dad was about 12 years ago. He was cutting my Dad's hair during the last few months of my Dad's life. He was a good man who cared about his friends and family. Please pass along my love to your mom and Mike.
Hugs, Kerri Smith

My Dear Betty and family.. He rests in peace,but will always walk beside you Reach out to him, as you talk about all the joyous times, when you laughed and loved together.
He will be missed by many Friends and Family. Always a Gentleman and a Gentle Loving Man. Roy and I spent many fun filled days in your perfectly trimmed backyard.. Occasionally Morris would steal a few winks, following a busy day in the barber shop, but he wakened quickly when Betty served one of her delicious dinners.
Morris was one of a kind, a loving husband, a wonderful father and Grandfather, always ready to bestow a kiss and a hug when family and friends were present.;
I treasure the many wood and bird carvings that Morris gave to me,, and always very proud to call him My Nephew'
With Love to you, Betty and your proud family.
Auntie Laura

Betty and family we are so saddened by the loss of Morris. Our hearts go out to you. It is comforting to know that Morris cut hair in our community for 47 years. He touched so many lives with the service he provided, but more importantly he shared his smile and good conversation. The world is a better place because he was here. May he rest in peace. Love and Prayers. Paul and Norma

To Betty and your family. I was so sad to hear about the passing of Mo. I was Mo's second longest customer....he told me that himself. I'll always remember my first haircut at the age of 13. When I got home, my Dad marched me back to Morris and wanted him to cut some more hair off because it didn't seem to be enough.....it certainly seemed enough to me, and I never stopped going back to him. Customer for life! Friend for life! We had many chats during his quiet times at the shop, and he certainly showed his love for his family, especially his grandchildren, his wood carvings and his jokes. I always teased him about getting a part-time job as a tribute entertainer...namely Elvis. My deepest condolences to you and your family.
Dave Long.

My Uncle Morris was a man of positivity with a big smile and a great sense of humor, always having a great story to tell . He loved telling his jokes talking sports or world events at the shop. Reflecting back on all the great memories over the years, he always radiated love, caring and warmth. Always providing a welcome hug to Lori and the girls and always a handshake strength competition for me. Uncle Morris was a pillar of support to anyone who needed it and was always just down the road to lend a hand make us smile and show what family is all about. He always made us feel like we were part of his family.
Miss you.

Having been one of his many customers is a pleasure i will always retain. I started in my teens and kept returning for my regular haircuts for many years until he had to stop doing so. Had many wonderful conversations about many topics including family. He also would share many jokes. The barber experience will never be the same. RIP Morris.

Morris was a great barber and person. My husband went to him for years at his shop both in town and at his home. We would go as a family, and I remember he would always talk to my girls and give them a sucker while they waited for dad to get his hair done. What a gentle soul. He will be missed by my family for sure!

Uncle Morris and Aunt Betty were a big part of my childhood. One of my favorite memories with Uncle Morris was when I was 3 years old and he was trying to make me eat my soggy cereal but even back then my stubbornness could not be broken. They treated me like a daughter and I still feel so loved thank you Uncle Morris.
