Tante Jane and family - I always remembered John as a great guy from the Berean days to the occasional visit when I would be back from Calgary. I am very sorry for your loss and hope that a lifetime of happier memories carry you through these darker days.

Our sincere condolences. I remember John as a very pleasing, sweet and a wonderful neighbour. He was very proud of his red old truck and once told me that truck is just for me and I take out the other blue car/nice car(his words) when I go out with my wife .He loved taking care of his nice backyard with vegetables and fruits. I will miss seeing him and his wonderful nice red truck. May he Rest In Peace.
Regards,
Saurabh Bansal and family .

Jan, as a little boy growing up I looked up to you as a giant (tall) as I grew older and began maturing somewhat ,I realized you were a giant in character as well. You always gave me the feeling of protection, and security .
You were a man that believed in his own convictions and principles. To me you were caring, concerned, warm and compassionate and stubborn, however all of the Triemstra's seem to have a touch of that stubborn trait. Thankfully you never entered politics since you were a man "that walked your talk".
The last phone call we had you asked me how I was getting along and coping, yet you were in most dire straights yourself.
The phone calls we used to have in the bygone years on September the 12th and 13th, to me were the personification of what the essence of brotherly love is all about and that word (love) I have spoken very sparingly throughout my life.
My sister in- law Jane and all my nieces and nephews and your spouses and children let me assure I can sense and feel the grief and emotional turmoil within, let me as well take the liberty of expressing the fact in my opinion that he is free of the most unbearable pain!!!
My most sincere feeling of sadness that I am not there.
PS: Brother do save me seat if you don't mind.
Mark

Dear Family of Uncle John, I'm saddened by the loss of Uncle John. When I think about Uncle John , I remember him always laughing and coming across as a happy man.. He had the kindest face. He seemed so tall in Moeke and Paekes little house. When I saw him last year ,I was extremely happy to have come full circle and see him through grown up eyes. I was right he still was that person hadn't changed. I'm truly sorry for your loss. Sending hugs and prayers Caroline
