I spent every single Tuesday afternoon with Miss. Evans from the age of 8 to the age of 17/18. Once I started at McMaster, it was a bit tougher to stop by but I tried my best. Miss. Evans taught me so much about Jesus and his love for me. I truly do not know where I would be today without her love and guidance. I just pulled out the last card she sent me and it is so fitting for right now; “You’re leaving? You’re kidding! It just isn’t fair-you’re packing up Here and departing for There! The Heres left behind are bummed to the max. It’s hard to accept, but they have to face facts-there’s nothing the folks Here can do but insist you’ll be warmly remembered and mournfully missed! Just know, as you’re headed off into the blue, that a big piece of Here will be going with you! When you’ve arrived There and completed your quest, remember those Here wish you only the best!” Miss Evans gave me so much, I hope to honour her memory by doing the same for others.

Sorry for your loss. Pat was a beautiful soul. I worked with her at Parkdale for many years. She cared so much for all her students and they all cared for her, too. She kept the Parkdale Choir going for many years and the kids looked forward to her Bible Club each week. An amazing lady! Rest in peace. ❤ Cindy Stewart

I worked with Pat for many years at Parkdale School and was the Educational Assistant in her room for one of those years. A more caring and kind person you could not find. Before she was a classroom teacher I knew her as our dedicated music teacher who organized countless choirs. She also ran an after school Bible Club for students for many, many years which also entailed her retirement years. She even had former students who were in secondary school come back to assist her. Upon my retirement a couple of years ago, Pat had flowers sent to my house on the first day of school which would have been my official "retirement from school" day. Always thinking of others. The world has certainly lost a wonderful person but heaven has gained an exceptional angel. M sincerest condolences to her family members. Debbie Connon

I met Pat at Parkdale Elementary School in 2003 when I worked at the school as an Educational Assistant. Pat's genuine love for the students in her class was quite evident. God used her mightily to speak into the lives of the kids who came to the after school Bilble Club. Well done servant of God. Blessings to the family as they celebrate her life.
