Our deepest sympathy to your family in the passing of your mother. We were sorry that we weren't able to attend the visitation due to the poor weather. My mom really enjoyed her time with Pat playing euchre with the Marion group. Also, my mom and I will especially treasure the times when we got together for her birthday in December. She was a very warm person and made both of feel so welcome when we came to visit. We are really going to miss her. Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers.

To the Walsh family -- our heartfelt wishes for peace go out to you all. Helen loved Patricia, and will always have great memories of their fun playing euchre with the Marion Place gang of gals for many years. Our family also has fond memories of all of you "boys" and Mary, and had the weather not taken such a turn for the worse, Helen was all ready to roll into DVB and bring personal wishes along with a hug. Sorry we could not make it. Please know we are all thinking of you at this time, and feel your loss. Patricia was an amazing woman with a great sense of humour and a heart of gold. She will not soon be forgotten.
With love, Helen, Lynn, Dave, Gail (and I'm sure Ron too).

Dear Walsh Family,
We are sorry for your loss. It certainly is a lot to remember, living on Marion Place. Brings back memories and the Euchre Club certainly had a good time for many years. My Mom always had the Christmas Party and the ladies knew how to enjoy themselves. Our sincere condolences to everyone in the family.

My Aunt Tish was a truly amazing person. She had a faith that would move mountains and sometimes when things weren’t going well, I would ask her to pray for me because I figured if God was going to listen to anyone, it was her.
My mother died too young and Aunt Tish took her place for me. She was someone that I knew loved me unconditionally. When I was expressing sadness to her that my mother had never seen my children, she said, “Valeeta, she sees them every day”. I hope that she knows the comfort that those words gave me then and still do.
My Aunt Tish cherished family and her and my mother and all their siblings taught us by their example that family is the most important thing in the world and how important it was to always look out for one another. They also taught us the value of laughter and togetherness and how to stay connected, even across the miles. As a child, and an adult, I loved when all the siblings were together home in Newfoundland. It was non-stop laughter and talk. It was truly a beautiful thing.
Aunt Tish really did make everyone who crossed her path feel like they were the most important person in the world. She wanted to know how everyone was doing and if they were having problems, you knew that they would be in her prayers that night. Even up till days before she died, she asked about our kids and how they were.
I know Aunt Tish loved when we came to visit and we always had a lovely chat but she really loved when she got to sit down with Martin and get all the news from home. That made her day as she had such a strong connection to her home province, even after all her years in Ontario.
Aunt Tish, you have left a hole in our hearts. We love you so so much. Give my mom a big hug from me!
Love, Valeeta & Martin

Aunt Tish was to me and I'm sure to many many more a very special person. She always had a way of making you feel genuinely loved and I looked forward to seeing her each time she came home to Newfoundland.
When my mom was very sick, Aunt Tish, being such a caring and selfless person, came and took care of her...she had a heart of gold. You are indeed a person who I deeply admire and will never forget.
RIP Aunt Tish. love you❤

I am very happy to be a part of Aunt Trish’s life. She was my favourite aunt and helped mom through tough times. She was there at my wedding supporting mom and me.
This woman was so full of love and like all the Oates’ , loved to laugh.
I miss her so much. I am sad she left us but happy she is with Pat and her siblings. RIP Aunt Tish. I love you.
