Obituary of Susan Meeboer

MEEBOER, Susan

Peacefully, with loved ones around her at Juravinski Hospital on November 17, 2019 at the age of 51 years.  Loving wife of Ken. Cherished mother of Tahnee Lacroix (Jean-Paul), Lukas Lukowicz and Emily Lukowicz. Proud Mimi of Greer, Carson, Cormic and soon to arrive baby boy Maskell.  Fondly remembered by her brothers Bob (Donna), Paul and Brian. Also remembered by many nieces, nephews and family. Predeceased by her parents Gus and Betty Orr. She was very strong and a warrior for everyone she loved.  She will be deeply missed. Susan dedicated the last 17 years of work with the HWDSB and was Vice President of Local 4153 CUPE. Special thanks to her work friends who supported and cared so much for her. Also, thank you to the staff at Juravinski Hospital especially Dr. Maybee for their wonderful and compassionate care.  Friends will be received at Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Thursday, November 21, 2019 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral Service will be in the Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, November 22, 2019 at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to Cancer Assistance Program would be appreciated by the family.  Notes of sympathy and condolence may be made at www.donaldvbrown.ca
