Obituary of Margareta Anic

ANIC, Margareta It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of our mother, grandmother and great-grandmother Margareta Anic at St. Joseph’s Hospital, on Sunday, May 27, 2012, in her 87th year. Beloved wife of the late Josip Anic. Cherished mother of Marg Fehrman. Devoted and loving Baba to Joe (Amy), Nathan (Kristine), Eric (Amanda). Adoring great-grandmother to Ty, Lily, Sidney and Bryce. Special thanks to Dr. Lagassi for her compassionate and expert care and to the nurses of C.T.U. West at St. Joseph’s Hospital for their excellence and caring. Also, thanks to CCAC for the support that enabled me to keep Mom at home; Jan Arnauld, Gail, Mary and Crystal, the staff at Grace Villa Nursing Home, and to my family, particularly the grandchildren for all of the joy they brought. Cremation has taken place. The Funeral Service will be held at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Friday, June 1st at 1 p.m. with visitation one hour prior. Interment to follow at Our Lady of The Angels Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Alzheimer Society, Children’s Wish Foundation or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
