Obituary of Kathleen Dalton

DALTON, Kathleen

(b. Rochdale, England August 29, 1931)

On October 22, 2019, Kathleen was reunited with her beloved Joshua.  Kathleen passed away peacefully at the Chartwell WillowGrove, Ancaster, in her 89th year.  Loving and proud mother to Peter and Sandra, Catherine, Paul, Andrew and Karen, James and Tammy. Predeceased by son-in-law Ernie. Cherished Nana to Ricky (Aarika), Rebecca (Sharyn), Paulette, Kristen (Joel), Beth (Tim), Danielle (Brock), Trevor, Katie, and Mackenzie.  Great-Nana to Xander, Addison, Morgan, Theodore, Dylan, and Evangeline.  Although predeceased by her 9 older siblings, Kathleen was a dear “Auntie” to Pauline, Neil, Judith, Susan, John, Michael, and many others. Kathleen will be sorely missed by her dearest and special friend Rosalie.  Kathleen retired from Cardinal Newman Secondary School after almost 20 years as head secretary. Special thanks to the Flamborough Wing staff at WillowGrove for their loving and compassionate care. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Sunday, October 27th from 2-5 p.m. Vigil prayers during visitation.  The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Francis Xavier Roman Catholic Church, 304 Highway 8, Stoney Creek, on Monday, October 28th at 10 a.m.  Interment at Our Lady of the Angels Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated. Online condolences and notes of sympathy may be left at www.donaldvbrown.ca
