We just heard of Earl's passing on October 18th. We had been thinking of Earl and had asked a lady Karen works with to see if her husband that works for Paddock Transport could find anything for us. We wish we had done this sooner . We both knew Earl from F.W. Fearman's and we both went to work with Earl at Wesglen Transport. Earl was a good man who cherished his children and always let it be known of his friendship with the Paddock family. We know that you will have fond memories that will put a smile on your face and stories to tell of Earl's escapades. Earl built a set of trains in his yard in Milgrove and that is who taught Jerry to drive them and they ran Ottawa. There will be generations of truck drivers that will not have the opportunity to learn all that Earl could have taught. He will be missed by many people that he touched over the years.

We were very sorry to hear of Earle’s passing. My late father, Don Gunn, & Earle were great friends for a long time. They also both drove for Earl Paddock transportation for many years. I grew up hearing a lot of stories about their travels in the trucks, including one story about putting parts of a plane on the trailers to deliver... they never gave all the details but based on the amount they laughed about it, it must have been a great story. Wonder what kind of mischief they were up to on that trip. :) Earle visited my dad regularly when dad became sick, and was a great comfort to him. We’d like to think they are together now, sharing stories & laughing. We wish you peace during this difficult time. Mike Gunn & family

Earle Magee is a legend. Paddock Transport has the privilege of calling Earle one of our own, and we are forever grateful to Earle for weaving us into his extraordinary life. Earle could never be accused of passing time. Everything he did, he did with passion, humour, and optimism. Every single day of Earle's life ended with a new story, and every story was nothing short of remarkable. Earle contributed so much character and colour to this world, leaving us with a model to live by, and a great many stories to tell.
