Uncle Ken was so very dear to our family. He was kind, witty, talented and so generous with his time. When my parents were sick, he was our rock - always there to brighten their day with his visits or help out with trips to doctor's appointments. My first experience in a plane was with Uncle Ken at the helm - flying out of Mount Hope peering down on our beautiful city and neighbourhoods with such pride! I enjoyed my visits with Uncle Ken but it was clear after Aunt Pat passed away, that he was never the same without his life-long partner and love. It is comforting to picture Uncle Ken and Aunt Pat together again. The world has lost a great man - but his memories and his legacy will live on through his family and those who were fortunate to know him. Karen Calligan (nee Wood)

I am so sorry to read about Ken's leaving this earth. I had the great pleasure of working with Ken, while he was on condo Board for so many yrs, as I am Property Mgr of his condo bldg - Florentine Place. Ken & I got along so well - we got to know each beyond our "work roles" ... and, I had the same honor of getting to know Ken's dear Pat. Ken missed her so --- Family/Friends --- my thoughts are with you.

My condolences to the whole Pearce family. I was heartbroken to hear the news today. Ken was the best roommate my dad had. When I would ask my dad a question Ken would always answer then a small conversation would pop up.
