So sad to say goodbye to a good childhood friend. Growing up in the "Old" Town of Stoney Creek we all had so much fun! Jaimie will be remembered for her laughter and sincerity.
Our families all knew each other. Dawn loosing Joanne & Jaimie is difficult for a sibling so I send my hearfelt thoughts . Ron, Peter & Nancy, your loss is huge.
The years of great times at Green Acres Pool, Stoney Creek arena, ball park & Saltfleet High & many more were the best. To the end you remained living in town. A true "Stoney Creek "gal.
Working at Cardinal Newman I watched your children grow in their teen years. Your love for Peter and amazing dedication for your Nancy was admired by all.
Rest in peace my friend. Donna (Vlajkov) Gagnon

To Nancy, Peter, Ron and Dawn & family;
I'm so sad to see that we lost Jamie last week. Jamie and I go way back to the mid 60's when I first moved to Battlefield Drive. We grew up together as teenagers and had some great times during our high school days at Saltfleet. Jamie was always a leader amongst her girlfriends that she had, and there were many. Always held in high esteem, and so respected, she was someone who you could always go to, if you just needed to talk to someone or seek some advice.
Jamie was a great Mom, as well....a loving sister to Joanne and Dawn. I'll always have great memories of Jamie and she will be truly missed by those who knew and loved her.
My thoughts and prayers go out to Nancy, Peter, Ron and Dawn and her family. Those of us who consider ourselves part of the 'Olde' Stoney Creek Crew have truly lost a beautiful friend.

I have known Jamie’s for over 30 years.( I helped keep her smile bright....I’m her hygienist). Jamie was such an amazing person. I loved it when she and Nancy would come in for a visit... I am so sorry to hear she has passed away. Jamie always was in charge and nothing seemed to phase her. I loved her easy smile and calming spirit. She will be deeply missed. Sending hugs to Nancy and Peter.. and family. Please keep my informed when the celebration of life will be.

Although I didn't know Jamie personally, I certainly DO remember her. My family lived on Battlefield Dr., in Stoney Creek, from 1956 until March 1967. I remember the Abbott girls, Dawn, Jamie and Jo-Anne, very well. They lived on Robb Ave., just around the corner from us, in a manner of speaking, as Robb Ave., connected with Battlefield Dr.
Jamie was a few years older than I was, though. Very good friends with Marilyn Pepin. I can still see her beautiful smile, and long brown hair. Funny the things you remember.
Now being over 60 myself, I check the Hamilton Spectator Obituaries, every morning. I was taken aback, finding Jamie's notice here. It really shook me. Her photo is just the way I remember her. That beautiful, winning smile.
I simply had to acknowledge her passing. And, extend my sincerest sympathy to Dawn, whom I remember as well. "May your memories be your roses in December", Dawn.
Very sincerely yours,
Michelle M. ( Kibsey ) Ransier
