Obituary of Olive Margaret Gaunt

GAUNT, Olive Margaret (nee Gower) August 17, 1923-April 14, 2010 Peacefully, on Wednesday, April 14, 2010 with her loving family by her side, after a courageous battle with breast cancer, at the Henderson General Hospital. Predeceased by her loving husband Austin Gaunt (February 23, 1998). Beloved mother of Darlene, Rick (Terry), Marilyn (Bob), Don (Anne), Ray (Linda), Pauline and the late Gerry (1978). Cherished grandmother of 14 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. Loved sister of Alice, Shirley and Janet and brother Bill. Predeceased by brothers Donald, twin brother Charlie, and Gord. Olive will also be missed by many other family members and friends. The family would like to extend special thanks to the Doctors, Nurses and Staff at the Juravinski Cancer Centre and the Palliative Care Team on the 3rd Floor at the Henderson Hospital. Family and friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Sunday April 18, 2010 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be held at Incarnation of Our Blessed Lord Parish, on Monday April 19, 2010 at 9 a.m. Inurnment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
