From my family to yours:
Our Hearts go out to you for the loss that you and family and friends must be feeling at this time.
Losing the matriarch of the family is almost unbearable. The truth is though, no matter how much we feel we have lost, there is so much more that she has left us. It will always be there.
Her love, her wisdom, her humor and all the wonderful memories.
God bless you and your family and your mom's loved ones.
From Tyler Lewis and family.

To my cousins and their children and grandchildren - Aunt Lauraine was one of the few Aunt's that I was blessed to know and she will always be remembered with welcoming arms, an open heart and plenty of smiles. My deepest condolences to the Garneau family.
I will always cherish the memories l have of Lauraine, and the love she and her family gave me when I was welcomed into your family. She was a special lady, someone I admired and respected. She raised a beautiful family of 5 sons and a daughter. Even though she had a full house of her own, she always welcomed more. In our tight knit community, her house was the house we all went to. Her kitchen table was always filled with friends, neighbours, kids of the neighborhood, she turned no one away but put the kettle on. There was a lot of laughter and love in her home, one of the reasons I loved being there.
You will be missed so much Lauraine RIP

I met Lauraine in 1979 and was immediately impressed by her big smile, warm heart and huge personality. She attended my wedding in 1981 and was a party unto herself! We shared a big love for Elvis Presley. Last year the two of us indulged that enjoyment of Elvis at a tribute show at Carmen's. Lauraine could party!
I have been fortunate to know such a beautiful soul wrapped in a tiny, powerhouse package of a woman. She was strong and deserved everyone's respect and love. She embodied love. She loved anyone that would accept her love. She was a friend to my now deceased mother and they had fun together.
I send my love to her family and friends at this sad time. I will miss her but I KNOW that we will meet again and pick up where we left off. Nothing but love to Lauraine and her family. God Bless and keep you all.

Dearest Momma, I am going to miss you so much. You gave us a life full of love and laughter, even in trying times, you were always there for us all. It's going to be hard not to pick up the phone to talk to you everyday or plan a visit. In fact, I will probably call you anyway and have the impulse to stop by. When I listen to country music, you will be there. When I talk to my kids, you will be there. You will always be there and if you are right, I will see you again. Until then, you will live in my heart and in the memories I share. I thank you for all that you gave up for us. I will love you forever, your son, Claude. xxoo
