Laura it's so hard to believe that you've left us so soon. I have so many great memories of you when we both grew up on Viceroy Court. You are now in Heaven and will live on in there without sorrow or tears only peace and joy. May God pull your family and friends close to Him, at this time of grief, and give them a "peace which passes all understanding". May their memories of you be a comfort to them until they see you again. Till we meet again Laura!

Laura has been a “Grandma / Nanny” to my child also. She was an inspiration to me as I fondly remember the many hours we sat and talked through mine and Larissa’s fence. Laura was very kind and loving to everyone, she will be sadly missed. Rest In Peace Nanny we’ll always remember your kindness.

So very sorry for your loss, I didn't know Laura very well, but enough to know how generous and talented she was helping out with web design and SEO questions. And she was a fun person to talk to, gone too soon.

Laura helped our business tremendously with her creative web designs and extensive knowledge of SEO. In addition, Laura oversaw our email accounts and was always there to help when we had a problem.
Laura always had a positive outlook and was able to quickly "find a way" to resolve any issues.
Laura will be sadly missed.

I am so shocked and sorry to hear of Laura's sudden passing. We grew up across the road from each other. We had such fun making tents with blankets and clothes pins; walking to Inch Park for swimming in the summer, a gang of us, but we could only go if Laura could go; collecting bottles for candy; baseball in the court and games of hide and seek. Laura had funny names for everyone. She was so incredibly smart and witty. She was our leader when we had childhood "wars". No sticks and stones for us, we had Laura's fast wit and words. Laura had a presence on Facebook too. Giving us up-to-date news, always factual, and it was interesting learning about whatever cause she was backing and following her family and adventures. She loved her family so much. This is such a cruel blow. I am so very sorry.

So sad to hear this. Laura was so very supportive and kind. We had worked together for about five years on websites and most recently with my photography business. She referred a number of clients to me and was also resource if I was ever in need of any service. Every person I met through her was a keeper. She was the salt of the earth. Will miss her very very much.

I am so sorry to hear of Laura’s passing. I had the pleasure of meeting Laura through our love and enjoyment of Dachshunds. I had a sister to Pedro, who unfortunately passed away. Laura was a part of helping me find and adopt our other Doxie - Arnold Palmer. Laura helped heal a part of mine and my family’s heart. My deepest condolences.

Mom,
There are not enough words in the world to describe how I’m feeling right now. My heart is aching...I can’t imagine my life without you in it.
I can’t believe that you won’t be walking through the door with Timmies that you would bring every day to Shane and I, and usually cookies or muffins for the girls. I won’t be getting your hilarious “out of the blue” texts and pictures, or your “I just made this” messages with the recipe and picture attached.
You always supported me 110% and had the best advice to give. You always put yourself last and went out of your way to please us. You were the glue. You were and always will be MY beautiful, amazing, Supermom!
The girls love their Nanny so very very much and are heartbroken, they are having a difficult time understanding all of this. I promise to you that I will do my very very best to step into your shoes and be their Supermom and support them like you did me. They are enormous shoes, but I will try...
I love you and I miss you so much already. This is unimaginable...there is so much more to say, and I will say it, between you and me Mom.
Until we meet again, love your little girl...
Riss xoxoxo ❤️

Laura was by far the most unique and eccentric person I have ever had the pleasure to meet. Every day seemed like she had a new exciting adventure planned.
Growing up she would let me tag along on some of these adventures with her daughter (my best friend of 35 years) Larissa.
Concerts, Bingo, day trips, trips to Florida, antique shows, or putting us to work, there was always something amazing and extraordinary going on and Laura just had to be a part of it! Positively the "coolest" Mom (and later, Nanny) around!
Being cool was only part of who Laura was, she was there whenever you needed her, she did everything with complete passion and immersed herself fully to whatever cause she had in front of her.
My heart aches, and words really cannot express my sympathy for the family.
I will cherish the memories and I am grateful to have been even a very small part of her life.
