Obituary of Joyce Helen Costley

COSTLEY, Joyce Helen  (nee Tournay)

March 21, 1930 to June 25, 2019

It is with deep sadness that the family of Joyce Costley announce her sudden passing into the presence of her Lord and Savior, in her 89th year, at her home in Stoney Creek, ON. Joyce was the loving wife of the late William (Bill) Costley (1930-2018). Left to mourn are her 6 children: Glenna Leclair (late David Gordon), Robert (Karen), Paul, Donald (Linda), Allen (Jean) and Christopher (Roxanne). She leaves behind 5 grandchildren, 8 step grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, 6 step-great-grandchildren, and 1 step-great-great-grandchild. Predeceased by her parents, Victor and Helen Tournay. Joyce will be greatly missed by her brother David Tournay (late Lois), sister-in-law Jessie Costley, and two nephews. Joyce was a wonderful mom to many and led a Godly life, she was a retired nurse, volunteer and a member of the Stoney Creek Alliance Church. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, ON, on Monday, July 1, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday, July 2, from 11 a.m. Funeral Service in the Funeral Home Chapel at 1 p.m. followed by Interment Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
