RUSSELL, George Robert (Bob)

Suddenly, at home on June 15, 2019.  Predeceased by his father George Robert Russell, baby sister Sharon and his beloved dog Iggy.  Bob leaves behind mother Rose Goldsmith, stepfather Bill Goldsmith, sister Krista Wheeler (Rodney Gray), stepbrother Tom Jensen, stepsister Tiffanie Page-Goldsmith, uncles Ralph Robertson (Lois), Leslie Robertson (Arlene) and many nieces and nephews.  Long time friends with Mike and Di.  They met while working at John Crane Canada many years ago.  When Bob was able to, he enjoyed hiking with his dog Iggy, being active playing football and baseball especially the socializing afterwards.  He was an active member of Latow Photographic Guild of Burlington.  Cremation has taken place.  Family and friends will be received at Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Thursday, June 20, 2019 from 6-8 p.m.  A private family interment will be held at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
