Obituary of Ferne Louise Gallagher

GALLAGHER, Ferne Louise (Fawcett) (nee Swayze) Passed away peacefully on January 19, 2009, in her 95th year. Predeceased by husbands Lyle Fawcett and George Gallagher, parents Arthur and Florence Swayze, three brothers, Morris, Ross and Claude, and five sisters Bessie, Reva, Bertha, Kay and Audrey. Beloved mother of George (Elaine) Fawcett, grandmother of Lyle (Jen), Alicia (Paul) and Sylvia (Michael), great-grandmother of Devon. Survived by many nieces and nephews. Ferne cherished memories of, and time spent, with family, friends and neighbours, especially Pat and Jim, and her Graham Avenue friends. She enjoyed the Fawcett picnic every year in June. Thank you to the staff at Macassa Lodge and Arkledun Hall for their friendship and care. The family will receive friends at the DONALD V.
