Obituary of Wendy Lea Spoelstra

SPOELSTRA, Wendy Lea

On Monday, May 27, 2019, God peacefully called home His child Wendy in her 63rd year.   She was the cherished Mother to Joshua, Justin and Sherrie, Jason and Nalini, Leah and Alex Fleming as well as a very grateful Grammy to Austin Dosspuri-Vandyk and Troy Fleming.  Wendy was the daughter of the late Peter and Claire Spoelstra, loved sister to Betty (2006), Ray and Shirley, Tena and Jerry Groen, Stuart (2016), Fred and Fran, Paul and Henny, Ruth and John Hensen, Peter Mark and numerous nieces and nephews, cousins and friends. She will forever be remembered by all who knew her as a loving mother and caring friend to anyone in need.  Friends will be received by the family on Thursday, May 30, 2019 at Immanuel Christian Reformed Church, 61 Mohawk Rd. W., Hamilton at 10:00 a.m. with a celebration of Wendy’s life to follow at 11:00 a.m.
