Obituary of Janis Elizabeth Hipkiss

It is with tremendous sadness that we announce the passing of Janis E. Hipkiss. On the morning of May 3^rd 2019, at the age of 70, Jan passed away at Hamilton General Hospital.  Jan was a caring and incredibly strong person, who despite her many battles with illness, still enjoyed life and loved with all her heart. Her love and commitment to her many pets, spoke volumes about her true character.  She was the beloved wife of Bill, the loving mother of Wil and Kirk (Courtney), and the immensely proud grandmother to Keifer, Beckett and Kieran.  She will be deeply missed by her mother Betty MacFarlane, and sisters Bonnie and Debbie (Nick).  Janis is also survived by many family and friends.  As per Jan’s wishes, cremation has taken place, and a private inurnment will take place at a later date.  Notes of sympathy and condolence may be made at www.donaldvbrown.ca
