LANE, Elizabeth Ann “Betty”

After a short battle with cancer, Betty passed away on Friday, May 3, 2019 at the Hamilton General Hospital in her 84^th year. Beloved wife of Les for 58 years. Cherished mother and protector of Derek (Sandy), David (Michelle), Denise, Dennis (Leanne). Much loved Nana of Nathan, TJ, Tyler, Jesse, Casey and Great-Nana of Tyler and Kiera. Will be missed by her many nieces and nephews. Special thank you to the amazing paramedics, firefighters and staff of Hamilton General Hospital for all of their kind care. Betty had an absolute love for spending time with her family, they were her world, and being a huge fan of the Calgary Flames. Friends will be received at the Donald  V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, May 9, 2019 at 11 a.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel.
