Peggy, my dear friend, my sister from another mister.....My heart is aching for you and your sisters & brother. This is one of the hardest things we go through as an adult, losing our mom! We are just never prepared for this one, we just always think they will be there for us to talk to, ask advice from, we think they will always be just one phone call away.... and while this is hard,we have our memories and we also know that your mom was loved because we (your friends) could see it in everything you did for your mom, taking her to appointments, spending time with and telling her all the time. Your mom lived a long life, one so many people don't get to do and for that we are all grateful. I remember going to your house so often when we were younger and she was always there, she was a fine woman (just like my mom) our moms were from a different time, and they were tough women and they raised good women, with big hearts. You my friend will be fine, because your mom raised a tough broad :) love you forever! xo Condolences to your family and extended family! RIP Margaret xoxo
Her Journey’s Just Begun
Don't think of her as gone away-
her journey's just begun,
life holds so many facets-
this earth is only one. . .
Just think of her as resting
from the sorrows and the tears
in a place of warmth and comfort
where there are no days and years.
Think how she must be wishing
that we could know today
how nothing but our sadness
can really pass away.
And think of her as living
in the hearts of those she touched. . .
for nothing loved is ever lost-
and she was loved so much.
