Peacefully passed away on Tuesday, April 9, 2019 in his 75th year. Beloved husband of Rozalija for 52 years. Cherished and devoted father of Rob, Katherine and Diana. Much loved grandfather of Marina, Monika and Faith. Loved brother of Mara (Grgo) Celebija, the late Tade (the late Manda), Ive (Vera), Luka and their families. Dear brother-in-law of Steve (Francka) Antolin, Ivan (Angela) Antolin, Joško (Albina) Antolin, Frank (Ana) Ferencak and their families. Ante will be missed by his many relatives and friends in Croatia, Slovenija and Canada. Thank you to Dr. Mukherjee and staff at Juravinski Hospital for all of the support to our family, St. Elizabeth’s care for their help, and to Fr. Drago for all of his love and support. Ante was very proud to be Croatian and had an absolute love for his family. He will be greatly missed by his friends that he would go bowling and attend stag and soccer parties with. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Vigil prayers 8:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Gregory The Great Slovenian Church, 135 Centennial Parkway N., on Monday, April 15, 2019 at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Our Lady of The Angels Cemetery.
