VANFLEET/WATSON, Ivy May (nee Nethersell)

August 9, 1917 to March 12, 2019

At the age of 101, Ivy passed away on March 12, 2019 at Queens Garden Long Term Care. Predeceased by husbands Thomas Van Fleet and Arthur Watson, sister Amy (Walter) Smithson and brother Frank. Survived by nephew Paul (Laura) Smithson, great-nephews James (Heather), Matthew, Joel (Laura) and Great-great-nephew Peyton and great-great-nieces Lorelei, Deirdre, Brielle and Maeve. Long time member of Eastern Star, and Pioneer Memorial United Church.  The family thanks the staff at Queens Garden for their faithful care and support over the past years.  Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Monday, March 18, from 12 :00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. with Funeral Service to follow.
