TINSON, Glen Arthur

Peacefully at his home, surrounded by his family, on Wednesday, February 6, 2019 at the age of 67. Cherished husband and best friend of Cheryl for 22 years. Proud father of Jeff, Keith (Michelle) and Robert “Robby”. Much loved grandfather of Carter and Sadie. Dear brother of Sharon (Bob), Janice (Gord), the late Norman and the late Arthur. Predeceased by his parents Arthur and Lily. Will be greatly missed by his many nieces, nephews, family members and friends.  Glen retired from UA Local 67 with 35 years of service. He had an absolute love of family and was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. His children were his world. He was supportive, reliable, full spirited and had a great sense of humour. He will be remembered for his handsome smile, joyful laugh and for helping anyone in need. Living the last 3 years with illness, he was resilient and strong, never wanting to be an inconvenience to anyone. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral Service will be held on Monday, February 11, 2019 at 11 a.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel.
