ZALITACK, Margaret Alice (nee Szrajber)

Peacefully passed away, after a long battle with illness, at the Hamilton General Hospital, surrounded by her family, on Tuesday, January 29, 2019 in her 64th year. Beloved wife of Donald for 42 years. Much loved mother of Jennifer and her husband Jeffrey Hart, Gary and his wife Tara. Devoted grandmother of Kylie. Dear sister of Brenda (Tony) Pitirri. Adored aunt of Tony Jr. (Fryda), Richard (Ashley), Joseph (Jenna) and their families. Loved sister-in-law of Richard (Brenda), David (Donna) and their families. Will be missed by her many family members and friends. Thank you to the VON nurses and PSW’s for all of their wonderful care. Margaret will be remembered for her absolute love of reading, dancing, going to football games and bowling. Margaret was a joy to be around. She had a wonderful sense of humour that will be greatly missed.  Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Monday, February 4, 2019 at 1 p.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel with reception to follow (location to be announced).
