MILLAR, Janet “Jan”

Passed away peacefully, after a courageous battle with multiple sclerosis, on Sunday, January 20, 2019 at Macassa Lodge at the age of 80. Predeceased by her husband Jack. Cherished mother of John (Karen), Susie Aiton (Gary) and Gord (Cheryl). Much loved grandmother of Matthew Aiton (Kelly), Sara Aiton (Tom), Amy Millar (Andrew), Elizabeth Millar (Matt), Stephen Dean and great-grandmother of  Gillian Aiton, Willow and Wyatt Young. Dear sister of Mary-Jane Lauder (Jack) and William ‘Skip’ Burgess (Janice). She will be missed by her nieces and nephews. Special thanks to the wonderful staff at Macassa Lodge 3^rd Floor for all of their amazing care. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow.
