Obituary of Mica Bajic

BAJIC, Mica (BABA) 

At the Juravinski Hospital on Friday, January 18, 2019, Baba passed peacefully surrounded by family in her 94th year. Beloved wife of the late Stevo. Loved mother of Milka Vincic and her husband Spiro. Cherished grandmother of Branko Vincic and his wife Mary, Vera Vincic , Donna Popovich and her husband Peter, Milorad Vincic and his wife Nicole, Dragan Vincic, predeceased by Nevenka. Great grandmother of Aleksandar, Nancy, Kristina and Adam. Mica will also be missed by extended family, kumovi and friends in Canada, US, Australia and Europe. Thank you to the incredible emergency team at Juravinski. Special thanks to Dr. Panju and “earth angel” Dr. Chan for the dignity and respect they gave Baba in her final days. Thank you to Orchard Terrace staff for their care and kindness. Heartfelt, infinite gratitude to Dianne Obminksi (CCAC), Margaret Wisniewski (CBI Cancare),  Lisa Jenkins (LHIN) for their guidance, support and empathy. We could not have done it without you! A private family funeral service was held at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home in Stoney Creek with the Very Reverend Fathers Djuro Samac and Stevo Stojsavljevich officiating. Interment took place in Woodland Cemetery.
