I know this comes very late, but I wanted to say I am so very sorry for your loss. I know that just recently losing my dad has been very painful! There are really no words to express. I only met Anut Anna a few times, but I remember when you all visited us back in the early '80's and what a fun time that was. Again I am truly sorry for your loss.

Anna, the day you welcomed me into your home at age 14, you were like a second mother to me. I am sorry you were in such pain and turmoil in your final days, and I know losing Shirley was the final straw for you and that you wanted to be with her. I am at peace knowing you in her loving arms and that now you have that peace and happiness you so deserved with Miss Shirley and your other family members. Miss you and will always think of you. My heart broke that day and I will never again be the same. You were my friend, my confidant, and the most caring person I know. I miss our daily conversations and sit and wonder where you are every moment of every day. It still does not seem real and then it hits me like a ton of bricks when I realize I cant just pick up the phone to call you. Your chair still sits by the window with your cane that somedays you despised and other days you welcomed. The window sits empty where you once sat to observe what was happening within your sight and the sadness you felt when all the businesses started shutting down, Your sight line literally became a ghost town. I loved how we were finally able to find one of your favourite shopping places before you were unable to go anymore and that I have cherished pictures of you enjoying the backyard sunshine with your cup of tea. I know you are not laden with physical illnesses anymore and are able to bask in the sunshine with Shirley but know how deeply you are loved until we meet again. Love you Momma
