To Mary-Jane and Toni, Please accept my deepest sympathy on the passing of your aunt. I know how close you were to Aunt Olga and she used to talk about you when you were little. I remember your dad Tommy who used to come and visit her on Avondale where she lived before she was married to my Uncle Eddie. I am her sister-in-law Sally's daughter and I grew up a few doors down. Uncle Eddie lived there also. My deceased husband ( he died two years ago )and I would sometimes visit Aunt Olga and Uncle Eddie with our three children on Capri Crescent in Stoney Creek.I always looked forward to bringing home their famous dill pickles! Aunt Olga and I exchanged Christmas cards every year. In fact I just mailed one to her at her former residence yesterday. I didn't realize that she was in a nursing home because the cards never came back to me and I had no way of knowing. I was very sorry to hear the sad news. She is the last Krakus to pass on.
