Obituary of Adeline Alice Mary Simpson

SIMPSON, Adeline Alice Mary “Addie” (nee Anderson)

Born on November 30, 1914 in the town of Brandon, Manitoba, Addie passed away peacefully on November 24, 2018, with family by her side, at Edgewater Gardens, Dunnville. Addie married the love of her life, Ronald Simpson, on September 25, 1937, after which they moved East and finally settled in Stoney Creek. Addie and Ron had two children Eilleen (Lee) and Gary and his wife Carole. Lee and Ron are no longer with us, but we know they are with us in spirit. Addie is the cherished grandmother of 7, great-grandmother of 14 and great-great-grandmother of 2. She is survived by her sister Eilleen and predeceased by siblings Howard, Ken, Alf and Phyllis. Also survived by her son-in-law Eugene Biagioni. Addie has spent the past 104 years being an absolute joy, inspiration, source of wisdom and never-ending love. Addie and Ron were proud members of Stoney Creek United Church and the Stoney Creek Horticultural Society. Heartfelt thanks to the staff of Edgewater Gardens, Dunnville, and Dr. Reddy, for all of their wonderful care. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Thursday from 6-8 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at Stoney Creek United Church on Friday, November 30, 2018 at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow.
