CARPENTER, Russel Stuart

Russel passed away peacefully at the Heritage Green Nursing Home, on Wednesday, November 21, 2018, at the age of 86. He is predeceased by his parents Stanley and Annie, brothers Gordon, Ross and Lennard and long time friend Nina Bell. Russel is survived by brothers Harvey (Ellen), Doug (Loretta), and sister Joan (Leen) Zonneveld. Uncle Russel will be missed by many nieces and nephews. The Carpenter family were well known, long time fruit growers in Vinemount, and will be remembered by many neighbours. Russel was a member of Rock Chapel United Church and Tapleytown United Church. He and Nina were avid euchre players. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Sunday from 2-5 p.m, The Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, November 26 at 10:30 a.m. Interment Fifty Cemetery, Winona.
