Obituary of Delano Thomas

THOMAS, Delano
January 16, 1952 – November 16, 2018
The Thomas Family is sad to announce the passing of Delano Thomas. Joining his beautiful wife, Megan, and God where he will rest for eternity. Delano was a beloved son, father, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, friend and mentor. Delano will be remembered by his giant smile, his wisdom and advice, his love for steel pan, and beautiful music. He was a steelpan music instructor for many years in both Trinidad and Canada. He was a lifelong member of Starlift and co-founded Symphonyx Steel Orchestra with his wife. Pan Forever in Harmony! Forever in Harmony with God and Megan. Viewing will be at Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Friday, November 23, 2018 from 7-9 p.m.  Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Francis Xavier Parish on Saturday, November 24 at 9:30 a.m.  Interment to follow at Our Lady of Angels Cemetery.
