So sorry to hear of Mad's passing. She was such a lovely lady, always smiling and willing to chat. She was the admin person of the group I was with at CCIW and was always so helpful and eager to listen. We had many a laugh and a fun birthday lunch with the "fish people". RIP Mad, you will be missed.

Madeleine was always a part of the CCIW team. As someone who worked with her indirectly she always seemed happy no matter where she was stationed at the time, or what social occasion we crossed in. Happy, smiling, welcoming, all the time. A fixture of the Centre. I smiled when I saw her photo. Bon voyage Madeleine

Mad sat in the same hall as me at CCIW only for a short time but we often chatted. She had a wonderful outgoing personality. She often brought a smile to my face and there was always a jelly bean for me when I needed it! I am sorry to hear about her passing.

So very sorry to hear about the loss of Madeleine, she was such a great presence when I first came up to the 7th floor, always welcoming and friendly. My condolences. I had the pleasure of meeting Madeleine 20 years ago when I started at Environment Canada in the Finance Department. Madeleine was always cheerful and willing to help anyone. Glad I was able to get to know her. RIP Madeleine. ❤️

The CCIW Social Committee should have some pictures of Maddy in the Annual CCIW Fishing Derby for Public Service Week. I remember taking a few of Maddy holding up a fish. Great big impish grin and a wit sharp as a scalpel. She'd come out with her cup of worms, her seat and her fishing rod and proceed to torment the other fishers to distraction trying to torment her back. I remember laughing so hard my ribs were soar for the rest of the week. Maddy made the event so much fun year after year, I'm sure Lucas and Phil of the Graphic Arts section can not only confirm, but add to some of the fishing stories and pictures. Maddy, I hope you and Al find the best fishing spots in heaven, 'cause I'll be asking you to show me when I get up there to see ya. My deepest sorrow to Maddy's family, for such a huge loss; for a little woman, she commanded a great deal of space in so many peoples hearts. Sending love and well wishes, Eileen
